Nola is the sister of the bride and if you know Cassie - you have heard all about Nola! Whether it's stories of their antics growing up (ask Nola about the Halle Berry haircut) or of Nola's protective love over Cassie and Cameron - Nola is big sister extraordinaire!

Aziz's day ONE! Truly the BEST MAN! Entering the world just one year before Aziz, He has always been there to pave the way for Aziz since the day he was born. Aziz's partner in crime and nobility, his view of the world and impact in it was shaped by the love, support, and guidance Aziz received from his brother. Without him leading the way, Aziz would not have had the strength & freedom to be who Aziz is in this world. The ultimate family man, he has taught Aziz what it means to be a man. Which is most honorable in light of their father's passing, he became that man.

Kristian is the sister-in-law of the groom and bestie-sister-friend (official title) of the bride. Kristian has watched Aziz & Cassie's relationship over several years and loves to tell them that she knew this was going to happen well before they did. She has the BIGGEST heart & constantly goes above & beyond to care for those around her. To know her is to love her!

To know Cameron is to love him! He is smart, silly, thoughtful, & so kind. God has given Cassie the joy of watching him grow more & more into the man God has called him to be as his momma. Aziz has had the privilege of knowing Cam since he was in the belly & now has the distinct privilege of calling him the BEST SON!

Arianna is Aziz’s niece, and Cassie has known her since she was a toddler. Arianna is a joy to be around, making her the sweetest niece & the BEST “sousin” (sister-cousin) to little Cam. Cassie & Aziz could not be more proud of the young lady Arianna is becoming & to have her stand by their side on their wedding day.

The ride or die. The Spock to Aziz’s Captain Kirk, there is no place in the observable Universe that we would not travel and make a lifelong memory. Knowing that life is short and laughter is the best medicine, he spares no expense for almost anyone he meets. Whether time, money, or mad laughs, he gives all of himself to care for Aziz and all around him.

Kelsey is one of Cassie's best friends and an extended member of the family! God was so kind in drawing Cassie & Kelsey to Himself around the same time & then bringing them to one another! Kelsey is a ride or die friend - like call her on Saturday & ask her to leave for Puerto Rico with you & your kids on Monday - kind of friend! Ask her about the tea tree oil - it shows the depth of her love for Cassie, Cam & Arianna.

The OG. This was the beginning of understating what the word "friendship" really means, Pete has defined and redefined the term many times over in the last 25 years. Ensuring Aziz always stays connected to that innocent young Spirit, he is Aziz’s nemesis in competition and his oldest/truest friend. Pete has also spared no expense to support or care for Aziz. He is the friend that Jesus says is "Closer than a brother."

10 years ago Martha co-led the bible study that helped Cassie understand the truth of the gospel and she has been a faithful friend ever since! Martha has had a front-row seat to Cassie & Aziz's relationship over the past year (ask her about the novel-length text messages she received every day while Cassie was in Kenya with Aziz & Cameron). Martha has been faithful to listen to and care for Cassie's heart over the years and has demonstrated her faithfulness in CONSISTENTLY praying for Cassie & Aziz through various seasons of their friendship and still today.

The Vegeta to Aziz’s Goku! This DBZ relationship accurately reflects the love/hate relationship in the famous anime series without any of the hate. We level up, go to war, and defeat evil together. Friendship/brotherhood level at 10,000,000 and climbing!

Rashawn and Cassie met in college through a sorority and developed a deep friendship, founded on the kindness they both experienced first-hand from Jesus! They attended Bible study together for several years and have supported one another through so many of life’s ups & downs. Scarbo is a prayer WARRIOR & over the years, she has been a soul sister, offering wisdom and pointing Cassie to truth at every turn.

The backbone of support and wisdom for Aziz and amongst these men. Ken is the ultimate encouragement in faith and a natural born leader. He exemplifies what it means to be a father, friend, brother, and selfless servant of the Most High God.

"Everyone needs an Amy Speakman in their life!" is one of Cassie's favorite things to say to describe Amy. Amy was a teenager at youth camp when she first met Cassie & the Lord was kind enough to allow Cassie to be a mentor to Amy. As time went on Amy became Cameron's first (& best) "adventure sitter", a weekly member of family dinner at Cassie's house & became a mentor & sweet best friend to Cassie.

The optimist. The younger bother Aziz always wanted. CJ has overcome seemingly insurmountable odds with nothing but love and grace in his heart. He sees the best in everyone and always speaks life into my best traits. He always leaves Aziz (& everyone who meets him) feeling incredibly empowered & with a fresh perspective on all the joy in the world!

Lilly has been a sister, mentor and lawyer-friend to Cassie for several years! She has taught Cassie so much about motherhood and life. Most recently, Lilly led Cassie & Aziz through pre-marital counseling with her husband. She is pretty much superwoman!
